How do you start these things without saying the obvious? New year, a time to start new things, I've followed fashion bloggers for years, etc etc. All true, and hard to say exactly why this is my first personal foray into the style blogger world. Finally got the guts I guess. My mother wants this to be a fashion and literary blog (as we are all book lovers and creative writers in the family) and I'm interested in style and design and all the inspirations that stem from that. So we'll see where this goes, right?
Wearing pretty much all gifts from Christmas here. Had to put my beloved DV booties through some hardships in the snow, but once I move back to England (t-minus four days!) I'll have to say goodbye to the snow. I'm studying English literature in Exeter, with weekends full of theatre trips and sight-seeing so I'm sure those experiences will crop up on the blog as well. These first posts are tricky, and I feel as though I'm coming off as dry and flat, but I have to say I'm getting more and more excited as I write this. Hopefully I'll ease in and things will feel more natural, right? Absolutely. I think all my quirks and passions are too plentiful to be pent up for very long. We'll see!
