Hi everyone!
Hard to believe but this might be my first little black dress on the blog! I own so many black and white dresses, but this little number is lightweight and perfect for summer - dressed up or down. I went for kind of in between, with simple (but oh so chic!) flats and my J.Crew that I've recently rediscovered (which has nothing to do with the fact that Emma Stone had one in the newest Spiderman film...nope...). Anyway these accessories are the perfect examples of the classy knockoff - of course I've had my eye on those Valentino rockstuds like everyone else and their mothers, but do I have $995 to shell out for a pair of shoes? Nope, not at all. But I do have $59 for a comfortable pair of look-a-likes! Bargain hunting, friends. It's what the internet was made for.
Anyway, as you may have guessed by the palm leaves I was not in northern Ohio for these photos. My parents and I took a roadtrip down to Sea Island, Georgia which was 100 degrees but 100 percent beautiful. It was my first time in Georgia and I'm not sure I'm quite made for the climate, but I can at least look like I am, right?
