One of the best things about Ohio is our high quality ice cream. Sure, we have the usual Ben & Jerry's and Dairy Queen but the best ice cream comes from local vendors (think Jeni's or Mitchell's). Even away from 'the big city' (AKA when I'm back on my rural college campus) you can find locally churned, creatively flavored, honest-to-goodness amazing ice cream. Shout out to my ole standby, The Dairy Belle, and hello to my new favorite, the Dairy. I know an actual cone would probably have looked more picturesque here, but I really can't help myself when it comes to chocolate milkshakes. Just something you should know about me.
