Hi all! Happy post-holiday-it's-Monday-already Monday. For those of you cybering it up today, I wish you well! (I instead must use my internet connection and speedy typing for grad school essays...)
I spent my Thanksgiving in New York, just like last year, although this time we just stayed in Brooklyn. This lovely park is right across the street from our hotel so we spent many a stroll here with our dog (yes we took our dog on a roadtrip to New York - crazy?). It was actually super mild while we were in New York, which illogically made me sad because you know how much I love to wear my winter coats. Oh well! My blazer-turned-light-jacket was just as fun and functional. Plus I like to think that not only did I blend in with the fall foliage with my neutral ensemble, but also with all the hip cool Brooklynites who just have that air of "oh I threw this on" and yet look insanely chic. I tried, but at the end of the day I think it's still pretty obvious that I'm just a small town girl who roadtripped here with her dog.
