Sometimes I feel like I have to explain my post titles. Sometimes they're pretty obvious (but not too obvious, right?? I don't want to be boring!) and other times they're random or overly specific. In today's case, I tried to be clever with my clothes and surroundings - my J.Crew heels are "court shoes" or so I'm told, my dress is actually quite navy in real life, but looks royal blue in this photos, and the place I'm standing in? Well technically it's a ruin of a chapel, but the groundwork looks a lot like a court too - right? Kind of? Well I was standing in the ruin and you weren't, so you're just going to have to believe me.

Anyway, I wore this to church when we were in Exeter - the first time I'd gotten to wear my In God We Trust dress. It is such a lovely simple piece, with bright green lining on the inside which is way fun. And I didn't think about the church and + in God we trust aspect until now, but, uh, there ya go.
Surprisingly these heels (thrifted at Buffalo Exchange when I was in New York) were pretty comfy, even on ancient cobblestones.

I hope you all are staying safe and warm! It hasn't stopped snowing here for about two days. I don't plan on moving from my bed until it stops, sound reasonable?
