Hopefully this isn't too sacrelige, but I think it's okay because the Bubonic plague happened over 600 years ago and anyway there aren't actually any bodies buried in this cemetery in Rouen, France. Apparently they figured out that dumping all the rotting bodies right in the middle of the town square wasn't such a great idea and dug them all up again for relocation outside the city. Still, the architecture here is way cool and the little skulls on the walls don't let you forget why this plot of land was carved out in the first place.
To counteract all the grimness I wore my brightest outfit yet on the trip! Totally kidding, I had no idea we would be visiting this cemetery. I just wanted to try my hand at mixing prints and I think I did a good job? Maybe? Are the prints too loud that they'll raise the dead? Ba-dum-tish. Okay, that was a bad one. I'll stop now.
