Not even going to apologize for the photo spam - Montana was so beautiful and I guess I was really feeling my outfit that day (and like also it's my blog and I can do whateva I want). I took a quick jaunt out west for the weekend because my family is spontaneous like that. I had no idea what to expect, really - the weather was up and down (one day it was 70 and the next it was snowing!) and I didn't really have a sense of what Montana would be like.
Well, I can say this: it is breathtaking.
Snow or no, the sights are utterly gorgeous: big, open, blue sky; crisp, clear air; tons of different colors blending together; and of course, the wildlife!
These photos were all taken in Yellowstone, which I feel is a pretty cool thing to be able to say. We spent a day there driving and walking around the geysers, rivers, lakes, and forests. I was sad not to see any wolves or bears, but maybe in retrospect that's a good thing...
