A terrible title, I know. But I wanted to get the hive mural featured in it somehow and explain why I'm wearing two different pieces of headwear for one outfit shoot. There's no real reason for the latter, by the way, except that I had just bought them both at a thrift store. And then saw this fun mural with bees and had to wear them both.
These photos (and hats and mural) were all from my time in Detroit a few weekends ago for my bff's birthday. You may know her, she's got a super successful travel/wellness blog, meets me in fun places across the globe, and also went to college with me - Sarah! She invited me up for a birthday weekend in Detroit, which despite my obvious Cleveland rivalry against I happily attended. It was so lovely, with catching up and Netflixing, farmers marketing and shopping, pizza eating and dancing. A+ weekend!
