No, obviously not a thousand - I stole that from Robert Frost's poem. But this place is where we have gotten our Christmas tree for over twenty years, so when I was little it sure seemed like a thousand! Of course it's a special place, but also a great one for outfit photos - as I've done in the past here and here. Obviously wearing red is a must. I still can't get over how good these & Other Stories boots are. I hadn't gone in to the store expecting to look at shoes, and then when I did, I had my eye on a pink pair, green pair, and burgundy pair... none of which came in my size. Finally these babies landed in my lap (read: I literally snatched them off the ground as soon as the girl next to me was done trying them on - don't worry, she didn't want them). The color is fantastic and they're actually pretty comfortable. I didn't realize Rachel Martino (a fave blogger of mine) had been wearing the same ones, but there ya go. Also I definitely stole the Chanel pin on a beret from another blogger (probably Noelle Downing), but ya know, imitation and flattery and all that.

I wish I had more holiday looks to post on the blog, but the last few weeks before winter break are some of the craziest in the classroom. Only a few more days though! Then I'll be off to London and Paris!! Which reminds me - with this fancy new blog look, it's easier to see my travel posts. Just click up top under "categories" for all travel posts. I'm working on separating them by country, but in the meantime have peek!
