~ A Midsummer Night's Dream Outfit ~
Yesterday I attended the art museum's annual Summer Solstice party for the first time! It's been going on for almost 20 years, and I've worked there for the past four years, but had never made it to this big, fabulous party. While there were great live bands, and it was fun to walk around the galleries after hours, the real draw was getting all dressed up for a starry theme. I ordered about five dresses from ASOS to try on for Solstice, wanting something with a deep neckline to show off my star necklace. This Free People dress was appropriately shiny, swingy, extra, and will now hang in my closet begging me to wear it for literally any occasion. With it being the longest day of the year, I also got the chance to wear my new sunglasses - a reward for making it through my first year of teaching, haha.
Hope you're having a great start to your summer! I am leaving first thing in the morning for San Francisco and then Hawaii!!! About to have so many tropical blog posts coming up!
