You know what today's outfit is all about? Fun. Colorful, playful, looking like a toddler - fun. I think I put a pressure on myself (unnecessarily, goofily) to look "chic" or "put together" more than I really need to. I don't ever want to get stuck in a rotation of polished outfits, or work outfits, or anything that is limiting. Because fashion is - you guessed it - fun!!
And this was a fun day - our first full one in San Francisco. I ate pancakes and walked to the Modern Art Museum, rode the street car like it was an amusement park ride, and felt very joyful when I spied some seals in the Bay. Also, how ~FUN~ are these earring I picked up at SFMOMA? I love anything found in a museum gift shop and they're a great little memento of my trip.
