Happy December! It really felt like November didn't even happen. Though I did get to spend the last week of it in Montreal - for holiday/family time, but really to see the Jonas Brothers in concert for the 18th time 😬
But Montreal was a really lovely city! I've been there once before, but I didn't get a chance to actually explore it as I was attending a music festival and then wound up in a Canadian emergency room. Not a great last visit, and it didn't help that the ER doctor blamed the accident on me not having tried poutine. Well I can say this was a much better trip all around and I have tried poutine - it won't make me give up good ol American cheese fries but it's pretty good! Actually I hadn't known that Montreal is a big foodie city, and I did try and make an effort to take pictures of where we ate, so hopefully a mini city guide will be up on the blog soon! P.S. - it was about 18 degrees when we took these photos! Those big puffy mittens were definitely the best purchase of the trip!
