Guys, my dream of becoming a deal finder (idk sounds better than bargain hunter) of high-end goods is finally becoming realized! Okay so I probably could have achieved it sooner, but I was super lazy. I felt limited to my local thrift stores, or the occasional trip to New York,in order to find quality pieces at a deal. Then I found Poshmark. It suddenly became so easy to look up my favorite brands, negotiate the price, and have it mailed to my doorstep. But I've been reading some other fashion blogs who use Poshmark and let me tell you, these gals have found some killer deals. Like Christian Louboutin at under $100 deals. So I knew I had to step up my game.

I'd been eyeing those Oliver Peoples glasses (pun totally intended) for a while and I'm not even gonna pretend that it's not because they're the ones Zooey Deschanel wears on New Girl (I'm still working on realizing that dream...). I had to use ebay since they've been discontinued, and I've always been wary of ebay. I made a few bids, lost, tried again, and was delighted when this pair arrived, still in its original packaging. The rag & bone booties were the only other item that I was "searching for" but even at the discounted prices on Poshmark it was too much for me. Then, after some deep deep digging, I found this pair marked at $150. I already had $60 worth of credits in my Poshmark account from selling my clothes, and I haggled the price down a bit, so I only ended up paying $60 out of pocket! Unfortunately I didn't do enough research to know that rag & bone sizes run small, so these babies are a bit tight on me, but like whatever right? Then the CDG shirt and the Givenchy clutch were total surprises. I just happened to be browsing and there they were, both $50 or less and calling my name. So did I find some great stuff? I think so. Did I still spend more money that I probably should have? Oh yeah. Am I now addicted to high-end thrifting? Uh....

What are some fab finds you've had lately?
