Ooh, Ray-Bans, ooh denim jacket, ooh bandana, ooh band t-shirt...do any of these things make me seem cool? Honestly, I really was going for casual: just jeans and a t-shirt. But then it was all black and I felt weird. So I threw on the bandana and red lipstick. But then I realized I could show off my new bee brooch from Riva (perfect for my #aesthetic, no?), so I needed to wear my denim jacket too. And then lipstick, yada yada yada.
Oh, were you expecting me to explain the Garlic Festival bit? Obviously it's a midwestern fixture in Ohio summers, duh. Just kidding, I actually had no idea that Ohio grew so much garlic? But we do and we have a festival to celebrate it? I'm not a big fan tbh, even when it was made into ice cream form. But garlic fries are certainly something I can get behind, as well as any chance to overthink a "cool" casual outfit.
