It all started when I was debating between two pairs of shoes for the day - my go-to Madewell slides in the perfect coral shade or my new Target mules in a wonderful mustard yellow. Sitting right next to each other, they were like little bits of ketchup and mustard. And I knew that this was going to be my summer color palette (I already did my spring one, remember?).
I did not expect this color scheme to be so prominent in vintage photos but I am loving it. Very tempted to go and find some vintage Seventeen magazines online now...!
