Hello! The first post from my trip overseas! Obviously I love so many things about blogging, but two that stand out are related to taking pictures when I'm traveling - I can't wait to edit all of the photos once I get home to see how they turned out, and I love how I get to relive the moments again when putting together the post! I can almost picture myself back here at Somerset House, feeling the chill in the air and hearing the sounds of the ice skaters. I've wanted to visit Somerset House for sometime due to its beautiful facade, and didn't realize it turned into a mini winter wonderland every year! I did not attempt to skate (wrong clothes and also I'm terrible at it), but we enjoyed admiring the architecture and popped inside the House for a very fun exhibition on the Peanuts. Yep - came to England to look at a retrospective of an American artist. But Burberry coat and its wintry tartan print definitely reminded me I was England (as well as the sight of the Thames when we walked out!).
